About EBS

For 35 years, the name EBS (Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH | Educational & Business Systems) has stood for innovation, success, and creativity. We develop and manufacture tailor-made solutions for computer-based education and training. Our success is due to the high quality of our products, the extensive experience of our employees, and a continually growing number of satisfied customers worldwide.

The company was founded in 1984 as alpha Computer Service GmbH by Günter Euchner and introduced the first EGA/VGA training systems of the alphadidact® series in 1985. In 1991, the company was renamed to EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH, under the leadership of the two managing partners, Günter Euchner and his son Robert Euchner. In 1993, the videodidact® system was launched, followed by the videodidact® Select, Show, and View systems between 1993 and 1994. In 2007, the digital training system alphadidact® Digital was developed, which is now offered as a 4K training system. In 2014, EBS received a new corporate design, with an updated logo incorporating the three primary colors of signal transmission (RGB). EBS GmbH operates in over 54 countries. In 2023, exports accounted for over 50% of total sales. EBS is independent of external investors and has an excellent credit rating (Creditworthiness Index 2.0: 156, PD=Probability of Default: 0.13% according to Creditreform, March 2024). The creditworthiness index indicates that the company has a 99.87% probability of not defaulting. This makes EBS a highly reliable partner for customers and suppliers.

We develop and manufacture our products in Germany. A modern SMD production facility ensures our high quality and flexible production processes. Our extensive component warehouse and forward-looking production planning guarantee short delivery times, so that every product is available on short notice. Naturally, we test and certify all products before they are launched on the market. We offer a 3-year warranty on all EBS products (extended warranties are available upon request).

We have formed strategic alliances and distribution and OEM partnerships with renowned and established companies from various industries, ensuring the flexible and coordinated integration of our products into virtually any infrastructure (e.g., language labs, call centers, dental labs, microscope labs, anatomy labs, server rooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, etc.). Due to international partnerships, our digital multimedia training systems are used in a variety of applications and markets, including IT/computer training rooms, medical learning labs/skills labs, ministries, and police and military academies worldwide.
