The EndoInn/Colosseum Academy, based in Oslo, Norway, has opted for the alphadidact® Digital multimedia systems from EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH as part of the refurbishment of its dental training laboratories.

At a total of twelve newly set up simulation workstations, students at the Dental Academy can be trained using state-of-the-art dental technology, supported by the alphadidact® Digital Multimedia System from EBS.

With the innovative multimedia system, screen content is transmitted uncompressed and without delay. With just one keystroke, the instructor can, for example, transmit the signal from a 3D microscope or intraoral camera to all workstation screens. Pixel-perfect and in the highest digital resolution, students can follow the “demonstration” at their workstations.

Additionally, the 12″ touchscreen allows each individual simulation workstation to be selected and transmitted as a signal source. This enables interactive collaboration between students and instructors.

Visitor groups can be welcomed in a specially designated “seminar room” and integrated into the dental training sessions. By “coupling” the simulation room and the seminar room, both practical and theoretical components of the respective training can be combined and visualized.

The digital multimedia systems are developed by EBS in Germany and are already in use in numerous training rooms and labs worldwide.
