50 seat dual screen lab – including keyboard and mouse control.
When Auburn University decided to upgrade their financial trading room to digital technology EBS was one of the first they called. This room previously (10+ years) had a smaller VGA-based videodidact system installed that while still functional, prevented the digital switch.
Using this opportunity, the room was expanded to a total of 50 student workstation, each with 2 monitors.
They are controlled by 2 linked alphadidact ® Digital systems. Each screen can be controlled individually or also at the same time. Due to the size and layout of the room a Windows-based tablet is used to control both systems.
Dual projectors, a document camera, a notebook input, an integrated financial information terminal and of course keyboard and mouse remote control functionality ensure an excellent teaching environment for many years to come.

40 student stations in a state-of-the-art dental simulation lab by Dentsply Sirona are now linked using our alphadidact ® digital system, ready for students and instructors.
The alphadidact ® digital system allows transmission to and from any connected device and monitor in the classroom. For example the instructor could show a instructional video from a laptop on every screen, then switch over to show a live feed from an intra-oral camera for demonstration purposes. All the student stations are integrated as well, so the instructor can check on student progress remotely or even allow the students to present their work to everybody in the classroom, making the lecture much more interactive.
By using every available screen in the classroom and transmitting a high-quality live feed every detail can be seen by the participants. This also allows for a much more interruption-free training, as students do not have to leave their workstations or struggle with visibility - a major concern in enviroments with lots of obstructing equipment.
Additonally the alphadidact in this room was enhanced with our Digital Audio Line - a communication system, which adds a dedicated audio transmission line, enabling communication via headset with any student in the classroom. When an instructor or student is presenting this allows for live commentary or also questions to be asked, easily heard by all.

The Unversity of Passau installed a 24-seat multi functional classroom using the alphadidact ® digital system at the end of 2015.
This room was required to handle group collaboration, as well as instructor-led classes for a flipped classroom, hybrid learning environment. The alphadidact ® digital allows a seamless, easy switch between both functions.
For group collaboration the students are arranged around small tables with up to 5 students each. Each student has a ThinClient PC with 24" FullHD screen and every table is fitted with a 40" FullHD LCD Display.
An EBS 6x2 collaboration switches allows every student at the touch of a table-mounted button to transmit to their table's 40" LCD screen to discuss their work with group members.
At any time the instructor can take over full or partial control of the room using our alphadidact ® digital system + wireless control - transmitting from one pod to another, but also to and from all of the individual students' screens is done on-the-fly and allows for very flexible teaching styles.
Individual student computers can be remote-controlled from the instructor's station and the instructor can communicate with all or individual students via headset - using our dedicated AudioLine add-on.
Showing content from the instructor's laptop, showing one pod to the others or working collaboratively with a student on a particular problem, while the rest of the class can watch in high-resolution on their screens, all this and more is possible with this powerful combination of EBS products.

The University of Auburn (Alabama, USA) has been using our VGA videodidact® Select series for more than 15 years. In March 2015, a new digital system with 1 alphadidact® Instructor + 40 students has been installed.
An interesting feature of this installation is the technical connection alphadidact® digital system with a streaming solution, the integration of a document camera as well as numerous room cameras.
At the touch of a button, alphadidact® digital transmits screen signals from each individual signal source - in full resolution and without delay - to all monitors, 2 large screens and 2 projectors. The individual signal can furthermore be sent to a streaming solution. Students can log in "from around the world" and participate to the courses interactively.

The University of Illinois (USA) has installed a new alphadidact® digital system in June 2015. This installation is characterized primarily by an interactive interplay of alphadidact digital system with seven digital Conferences 6x2 switches.
The request of the University was to get a multifunctional training room, to be used as a conference room for brainstormings and as a computer lab. Outside of the lectures, students can come together in small groups for a "brainstorming" and present their solutions to each other. For this "brainstorming Tables" a digital conference switch 6x2 and 6 Show-Me-Buttons each were installed. Each table is additionally equipped with 6 iMacs and a large 40" display."
In lecture mode, the seven brainstorming Tables are connected together to form a large training group, controlled by the alphadidact® Digital system.

End of 2014, two major banks have decided to use alphadidact® Digital systems in their training facilities. Apart from the Deutsche Bundesbank, the ECB European Central Bank has raised a number of EBS training systems. In the new building of ECB in Frankfurt/Main four alphadidact® Digital systems have been installed.
Two of the classrooms are equipped with a coupled system. The alphadidact® system coupling enables the "interconnection" of two separate classrooms. In pairing mode, both systems are operated through one controller.
All four training facilities are equipped with numerous options, including stereo audio line, tablet control, USB remote control & lock of mice and keyboards, Privacy Protection Switch, help-button and screen acces mode.
